Genealogy Research Service
The Genealogy and Local History Dept. now offers in-depth research for people that cannot perform on-site research.

The fee is $25.00 and is non-refundable and payable in advance.  You must fill out a Request for Research form.

Frankfort Place on the web!

Visit Frankfort Place to view photographs of all things Frankfort.  Frankfort Place is a project that was started as a way to get images of "old" Frankfort in the public view.  The project has grown to include images from people across the country that wish to share their images.

Photographs from Frankfort Library's slide collection are available for viewing at Frankfort Place & are eligible for purchase through the Genealogy Dept. at the library; just look for the Frankfort Library when viewing the images.
 



 

Genealogy Workshop

Jana Broglin will present a Genealogy Workshop on Saturday, September 25.

The workshop will be held at the Frankfort Library
in Room 219.

Family History Classes

Come join us the third Wednesday of each month from 6pm to 8pm for Family History Classes.  The cost is $2.00 and you can register in the Genealogy and Local History Department. 

Clinton County Genealogical Society

The Clinton County Genealogical Society meets at the Frankfort Community Public Library on the 4th Wednesday of each month in the Ivy Tech meeting room on the Lower Level,
at 6:30 pm.

The Genealogy & Local History Department is located in the Gerald and Toni Gill Area in the Lower Level next to Harry's Coffee Bar Materials

We have a variety of materials about Frankfort and  Clinton County that only we carry. To see a listing of the items and the prices, visit our
virtual library shop.

    Our Research Policy:

Research fees include a $5.00 charge for the first inquiry, $3.00 for each subsequent inquiry within the same request, and copy costs.  Copy costs are $.50 per page for microfilm copies and $.10 per page for regular black and white copies and $.25 per page for regular color copies.  In-depth research costs are $25.00 and you must fill out a Request for Research form.  Email the Genealogy & Local History Dept. for more information.
