All obituaries have been transcribed, and obituaries were created for some who did not have obituaries in newspapers from Federal census reports, marriage, birth, and death information. Four books in set, but each can be purchased separately. First three volumes deal with South Side: Book 1, A-H, 555 pp.; Book 2, I-R, 499 pp.; Book 3, S-Z, pp. 522. The last volume deals with the North Side, A-Z, 555 pp. Page count does not include indices. Hardbound. News, 1900-1906. Compiled and edited by the staff of the
Genealogy and Local History Department of the Frankfort Community Public
Library and volunteers of the department, 2011. Contains obituaries, death
and funeral notices, and some ‘cards of thanks’ from the microfilmed reels
of the Sheridan Press, a local paper of Sheridan Indiana. All obituaries
were transcribed from the microfilm. Our Genealogy and Local History Department includes an extensive

Frankfort Place is a project that was started as a way to get images of "old" Frankfort in the public view. The project has grown to include images from people across the country that wish to share their images. Photographs from Frankfort
Library's slide collection are available for viewing at Frankfort Place
& are eligible for purchase through the Genealogy Dept. at the library;
just look for the Frankfort Library when viewing the images.
